“I want to start dressing like I’m 30. Some of the things I have are like, ‘I can’t wear this anymore, it’s not cute.’”Items on the star’s shopping list include basics from A.P.C. and Balenciaga, which she stocked up on after a self-imposed shopping hiatus.
“I didn’t shop for a long time,” she confesses, “People bother you.” Not on the agenda? Trendy items and New York-sourced vintage, which she dubs “too expensive.”
However, like most women, Dunst is a sucker for sartorial romance. “I like it when I do a photo shoot and it’s a fantasy of something,” she says. “You can dress me up.”
