Internet Prophets, Social Media Marketing Podcast and More!

I’ve been working hard on my new book this week and I’m really excited to be making some good progress. I still have a long road ahead of me but I’m hoping to get the first draft finished before our baby daughter arrives sometime at the end of next month. Our firstborn was a month early, so we’ll see exactly what happens! Any bets?

In the meantime, here are some resources that I wanted to make sure caught your eye today:

Today marks the launch of a new book called Internet Prophets: The World’s Leading Experts Reveal How to Profit Online by Steve Olsher, and I’m super stoked because I’m featured in an entire chapter about blogging!

Internet Prophets - Pat Flynn

I’m honored that Steve reached out to interview me for the blogging chapter in the book, but, I’m even more happy that I was able to share my story and also speak the truth about blogging for an income: that it takes time, hard work and dedication. I kept mentioning that in our interview together and I’m really glad to see it was printed.

For a short period of time you can actually get a PDF version of the book for free by clicking here. You will need to enter your name and email to get access. I just confirmed that the PDF is indeed the full version of the book, which is a pretty incredible offer.

If you want to pay for the paper back, here’s a link to the book on Amazon.

Social Media Marketing with Michael StelznerToday also marks the launch of a brand new podcast, one that I’ve been anxiously waiting for – the Social Media Marketing Podcast on Social Media Examiner.

The show is hosted by Michael Stelzner, founder and CEO of Social Media Examiner, who I had the pleasure of meeting at Blog World Expo in New York this past June. Mike’s story about how he built Social Media Examiner from the ground up to become one of world’s top 10 business blogs with now over 165,000 subscribers is amazing!

I’m more than confident that this podcast will be a top ranking podcast in iTunes very soon, and I’ve already learned a ton in the first half-hour episode featuring Facebook marketing expert, Mari Smith.

I listed a few podcasts that I listen to in my latest monthly income report, but this one will definitely be on the top of my list now too.

This last resource is just for fun – CanvasPop.

If you’re an Instagram user, you can actually log into Instagram through CanvasPop, select a picture that you like and have them print it on a square canvas for you to decorate your house or give as gifts. I just purchased a few yesterday for my home office.

Genius idea, and there are several other businesses sprouting up just like it thanks to Instagram’s API, such as Printstagram & StickyGram.

If you’re on Instagram and not following me already – you should! Just search for “patflynn” and you’ll find me!

Cheers, and enjoy your weekend!
