Acer has even more ultrabooks to share with you, today introducing the Aspire Timeline Ultra M5 series. The ultrabook will be available in both 14- and 15.6-inch sizes, with chassis coming in at 0.81-inches thick. Naturally, you’ll find Intel’s third-generation Ivy Bridge processors under the hood, with Core i3 chips offered on standard configurations with the option to upgrade to Core i5.

The company is also including a discrete GPU in the form of the NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M LE, and Optimus technology is onboard so that the laptop can intelligently switch between the integrated and discrete GPUs to save power while maximizing performance. 4 Ways to Make Timeline Work For Your Business

4 Ways to Make Timeline Work For Your Business Posted on April 20, 2012 by Flowtown in Business & Marketing, Featured, Social Media

Businesses that use Facebook to build brand awareness, sell products, and gain new clients will have to adjust their pages now that Facebook has converted them to the Timeline format. The good news is these changes can actually help fine-tune their promotional methods and increase social media visibility, all of which will result in more sales and an increase in new customers. Here are our tips to make the new Timeline work for your business.
1. Choose a Strong Cover Photo

Facebook has significantly changed the rules for cover photos on its business pages. Businesses can no longer run a strip of photos across the top of their pages. Instead, they must feature one large image that measures 850 pixels by 399 pixels, along with a 30 pixel by 30 pixel profile picture.

Note that your cover photo can’t include any calls to action, so don’t add messages such as “Like Me,” “Share” or “Contact Us.” Instead, choose a nice, focused image (that fits within the dimensions) to make your first impression professional and impactful. The photo should be reflective of your brand and business: showcase your company culture, your industry, or your satisfied customers. Avoid a boring image of your logo for your cover photo—the profile pic box is the best place for that.

Zuckerberg has done it again. The introduction of the Timeline is not only the natural evolution of the old profiles, but most of all, is the perfect platform for the digital transposition of its life on social networks that, in recent years, had the merit of having irreversibly changed our habits and the way we interact online.

The concept of the Timeline, to be true, is not an invention of Palo Alto. In the recent past have tried to introduce it, without success, other social networks in complete anonymity. With Facebook will go differently.

Just imagine the possibilities from this time onwards. Facebook was already a hub of information which collected the daily life of millions of people. With the introduction of the Timeline becomes the historical memory of humanity. It's an idea fascinating as impressive. A huge backup of life of millions of people online.

Suddenly Google +, which I always used in parallel and for which I spent all my recent post positive comments, it has become obsolete and very unattractive, distant geological era from its unrivalled competitor. And so, aside from Twitter, is for everyone else.

There is no more space for anyone. Facebook won
